Job Safety

The Job Safety (JS) programme is an additional TWI programme that focuses on health and safety. JS provides a framework for supervisors to involve employees in identifying and eliminating potential hazards. JS was developed in Japan and although it was not part of the original TWI program, it plays a crucial role in the industry today. This program teaches executives a method to analyze the chain of events that lead to accidents and hazardous situations. Source causes are identified and addressed to "break the chain". JS emphasizes that the relationship between the manager and the employees plays a central role in a safe and responsible workplace.

Participants learn in the training:

To see and prevent dangerous situations at an early stage.

To prevent dangerous situations by using instructions, leadership or improving procedures.

Analysis of the situation, focusing on objects and people
