Safety: that belongs to our safety department

Many organisations have an active safety policy in place. Accidents are analysed and measures are taken to meet the (changing) legal obligations. However, improving safety is often seen as a task of the safety department and safety is not yet seen as a basic task in daily work. Or sometimes these tasks seem to be too complicated, so that ordinary employees do not actively work towards a safe working environment.

By making direct managers aware of their role in the field of safety and allowing them to actively work on concrete work situations, you develop a safety policy that is supported by your entire organisation.
